Let’s start with the obvious – Don Bell is the most handsome man in the world! Seriously. I have traveled the world with and without him (this is a travel website, afterall) and no other man compares. While he easily attracts my eye, he captured my heart, mind and soul with just as much ease. *GUSH*

Ok, gushing aside… for now. Don Bell is an Emmy Award-winning sportscaster who has worked his tail off to be the best in the business. He will probably deny that he’s the best but this is something I’ve thought of him way before we ever started dating. He has been on the national stage at ESPN and was a flagship anchor for FOX Sports 1 in Los Angeles. Don is currently the Sports Director and lead Sports Anchor at CBS-3 in Philadelphia. He has covered every major sporting event from Super Bowls to World Series and beyond. As a person who has a front row seat to his life, I see how dedicated he is to his craft and it shows on camera. His writing and delivery blows me away and I often applaud him with two words: MASTER CLASS! He is a genius writer and an even better communicator with his audiences. Am I *gushing* again? I feel like I’m gushing!

Moving on! If you know Don, you’ll wonder why I didn’t mention this first. If you are just meeting him through this website, here is a fun fact: Don has two careers! He is also an extremely gifted photographer and has been obsessed with cameras since his youth. Photography and creating is his passion! He takes a camera with him everywhere he goes, literally! He put up a sign that he sees everyday before he leaves the house. That sign reads, “Take your camera!” He shoots everything from digital to film and has vastly expanded my photography vocabulary just by breathing the same air as him. Don has exhibited all over the country and needs a China cabinet just for his cameras, so he stops crowding the kitchen table (Christmas gift idea?).
