``I'm out of the office without access to email!``
when two different type of travelers… get married
Imagine my surprise when I realized my husband travels for rest & relaxation or his surprise when he realized I travel for exploration! Ahh, the cliché is true – opposites attract. This was one of our first lessons in compromise. I, Krystle, can spend my vacations exploring everyday. I can quite bored just “relaxing.” My husband, Don, needs to relax with no itinerary. That was a new concept to me! Nevertheless, we travel so well together with a simple compromise: relaxation day, exploration day, repeat. I may not be able to see as much as I’d like and he may not relax as much as he likes, but we alway leave our destinations feeling both cultured and refreshed.
GO MARRIAGE!

Our primary goal is to share travel guides and itineraries on Married and Jet-Lagged but with each trip, our horizons are undeniably broadened. We learn so much from different cultures from their norms, government, uniqueness, oppression, cuisines and so much more. We've even learned some hard lessons that we hope you can avoid. Our blog contains a deeper dive into our learning experiences on our trips ♥
