WHY WE ♥ CABO:

Cabo San Lucas is the ultimate bachelorette party! If I did not get married during the 2020 covid pandemic, this would be my dream bachelorette destination. Thankfully, I was able to celebrate one of my dearest friends in Cabo.

There are so many things to do in Cabo! You can truly tailor this trip to whatever you desire: chill, turn-up, relax or party. I highly recommend renting a private boat or yacht using Get My Boat Rentals to see the famous Arches. We went dancing downtown (about a 20 minute drive from our hotel) and one of the most thrilling adventures – ATV Riding. Since this was a bachelorette party, we booked a photographer and did a beach photoshoot. The photographer also had a drone – which captured some amazing pics. Most of these experiences can be booked on AirBnB experiences.

A Candid Cost Calculation:

Accommodation – Since we had several girls on this trip, we split the cost of the penthouse of the Cabo Azul Resort. The penthouse was very spacious and gave us enough room to decorate, dance and celebrate our girl. We enjoyed our personal balcony and the beautiful resort pool, swim-up bar and cabanas. It is about a 20 minute drive to downtown but we enjoyed the distance because we didn’t want turn-up every night. If you do, stay closer to the Boulevard Lázaro Cárdenas and the Marina.

Food – Since the girls on the trip traveled from all over, the first night we ate dinner at the hotel. That is part of the reason we loved our accommodations – we could still get dressed up for a nice dinner without having to leave the resort after a day of travel. Our favorite fancy restaurant is the Sunset Monalisa, a spot with stunning views! It’s Mexico so feel free to eat tacos, margaritas in all the tourist trap areas. Beware, there are a lot of cash-only restaurants 😳

Transportation – If you’re not walking distance to downtown, you’re main mode of transportation will be taxi (your hotel can help call), private transfer (booking in advance) or an excursion group picking you up.

Best of the Best – We had so much fun on our private boat! This is a must if you are with friends! Some boats will provide snacks and you BYOB. Make sure to all all the pics, bring a phone for music and get in the water & swim!

PRO TIPS ♥:

Book a Hotel with a Pool Beach days are a must but have the option to relax at our resort pool and cabanas felt magical. The swim-up bar didn't hurt!

Activities over Tours You don't need the standard tour that you'd typically book on an exploration trip. Instead make sure to have at least one or two activities planned in advance. We booked a boat, ATVs and a photoshoot.

Stay Close This is a place where tourist traps are the main areas you want to stick to. Don't venture too far area from those areas for safety reasons.

Dance, Dance, Dance 💃🏾🕺🏾 We went out dancing two nights. One was a dinner that turned into dancing. We enjoyed our nights in as much as we did out, but would recommend one night on the town!
